We wore odd socks for Anti Bullying Week to celebrate the joy of being unique.

Art Week. We looked at the painting Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh. This is some of the work the children produced.

We have been thinking about the meaning of poppies. We went to the War Memorial at 11 o clock to show our respect.

Supporting Macmillan coffee morning

Thank you for supporting our socially-distanced coffee morning in support of Macmillan'.  We managed to raise £70.  Thank you for your generosity (our school value this month!).

Macmillan Coffee Afternoon

Village school Federation Sports Day. The children had a fantastic time with their friends from Stoke Goldington, Newton Blossomville, Sherington and St Andrews. In the morning the children participated in Team Games and individual races. After a lunchtime picnic the children could try their hand at a new sport. They chose from, tennis, netball, cricket, football and rugby.

Learning about the Reading Challenge for the Summer Holidays.

Arts and recyling Week. We decorated our own bag for life and are going to try and remember to take them shopping with us.

As part of Creative week Mrs Hoten came in to show us how to recycle books. The children made flowers and hedgehogs.

We linked our Creative Week with The School Councils idea to think carefully about our environment. They were concerened about the amount of plastic that ends up in the sea and theeffect it has on sealife.

Reverand Coralie helped us to make poppies. We went to the St. Firmin's Church to see the display.
